1. General characteristics of the profession

A person who organizes vocational training for workers and professional development of executives and specialists.

2. Official duties

Organizes (training, retraining and advanced training of workers in production, secondary vocational schools, economic studies, practical training of students and young professionals during their internships, as well as practical training of students and students). Based on the needs of the enterprise for qualified personnel and taking into account the requirements of a market economy, it develops projects of promising and current plans for personnel training, advanced training and skills working with the necessary justifications and calculations. Establishes contacts with educational institutions, draws up contracts for training, retraining and advanced training of employees of the enterprise. It draws up schedules for sending executives and specialists to educational institutions for advanced training in accordance with the concluded agreements, and monitors their implementation. Takes part in the work on the vocational guidance of young people, as well as in the development of educational and methodological documentation (curricula and professional development programs, manuals and recommendations, training schedules for study groups, etc.). Provides leadership educational and methodical work on all types and forms of training and professional development in production. It selects the staff of teachers and instructors from among the specialists and highly skilled workers with the subsequent approval of them in the prescribed manner, completes training groups. Controls the systematic and quality of classes, student performance, compliance with the terms of training, the implementation of curricula and programs, the correctness of the established documentation. Performs work on providing the educational process with the necessary methodological literature, as well as equipping educational and methodical rooms with equipment, technical training aids, equipment, visual aids, as well as the introduction of automated tools and modern active teaching methods into the educational process. Participates in conducting final classes, examinations, qualification tests, competitions of professional skills of workers. Organizes lectures and reports, seminars and consultations in order to improve the level of professional training of mentors, teachers and trainers. Prepares employment contracts (contracts) with teachers and instructors, makes estimates of the costs of training and staff development, remuneration for staff training and management of production practices, controls the correct use of funds for these purposes. Participates in the monitoring of attendance and academic performance of workers enrolled in courses and in educational institutions on the job, training and advanced training of specialists in the system of secondary and higher vocational education, as well as institutes and advanced training courses. Takes part in the organization of work of qualification commissions and educational and methodical council of an enterprise on vocational training of workers in production, implementation of their decisions, development of measures conducive to growth of labor productivity by improving the skills and skills of workers. Constantly improves the forms and methods of vocational training and advanced training of personnel in production, summarizes and disseminates best practices in this field. It analyzes the quality indicators of learning outcomes and its effectiveness (changes in the professional qualification and official composition of workers and employees, the growth of labor productivity, wages, etc.), keeps established records.

3. Qualification requirements

Category I training engineer: higher professional (technical or engineering-economic) education and work experience as a training engineer of category II for at least 3 years. Engineer for training personnel of the II category: higher professional (technical or engineering-economic) education and work experience as a training engineer or other engineering and technical positions replaced by specialists with higher professional education for at least 3 years. Training engineer: higher professional (technical or engineering-economic) education without presenting requirements for work experience or secondary vocational (technical or engineering-economic) education and work experience as a technician in category I for at least 3 years or other positions replaced by specialists with secondary vocational education, at least 5 years.
