1. General characteristics of the profession

Specialist in skin diseases and venereal diseases.

2. Official duties

It assists with skin diseases and sexually transmitted diseases, conducts preventive examinations and sanitary-educational work among the population, provides compulsory treatment and registration of patients with venereal diseases, as well as identifying the source of infection. Should know: the basics of general theoretical and clinical disciplines, classification, symptoms of sexually transmitted and skin diseases, methods of their treatment and prevention. Professionally important qualities: emotional and volitional stability, attentiveness, accuracy, high responsibility, observation, a large amount of long-term memory, an analytical mind. Medical contraindications: significant defects of vision and hearing, mental and nervous diseases, infectious diseases.

Medical Faculty of Medical University.
