2. Official duties

Carries out operations to reflect on (c) the cash register of all cash received from customers in accordance with the operation manual for the respective type of cash registers. Determines for each customer the total amount of the purchase as indicated by the indicator of the cash register or by means of a counting device and informs the buyer. Receives money from the buyer for the goods purchased according to the amount called the buyer or indicated in the price lists, observing the following procedure: a) clearly names the amount of money received and puts the money received from the buyer in front of the buyer separately from any (other) money; b) punches a check at the cash register; c) names the sum due to the buyer of the change, clears the money received from the buyer to the cashier and issues the buyer change along with the check (paper notes and loose change are issued by the Cashier at the same time). At the end of the shift (if necessary and in other cases) withdraws the cashier, hands in the money received from customers to the Senior Cashier. Carefully handles money (does not pollute them and do not produce any inscriptions on paper bills). Issues money on checks returned by customers only if the signature on the returned check is signed by the Director General or Deputy Director General. Refunds are made only on the check issued at the box office. Provides uninterrupted operation of the box office, is in working hours at his workplace. The cashier can leave his workplace only with the consent of the Senior Cashier. It provides a clear and courteous customer service, creates comfortable conditions for them, controls the absence of trade rules violations, takes measures to ensure the absence of queues. Ensures the safety of money held at the checkout, cash register and other material values. Takes measures to prevent and eliminate conflict situations. Informs the management of existing shortcomings in customer service, measures taken to eliminate them. Maintains the atmosphere of goodwill in the workplace, sets a personal example in serving customers. The cashier must be patient, attentive, polite when working with clients. Ensures cleanliness and order in the workplace. Observes labor and production discipline, rules and norms of labor protection, the requirements of industrial hygiene and hygiene, fire safety requirements, civil defense. Performs instructions of the administration of the enterprise. Is in the workplace in uniform work clothes, must have a neat appearance.

3. Qualification requirements

Secondary vocational education, if you have experience as a cashier for at least 1 (one) year.
