1. General characteristics of the profession

Specialist in the field of design, construction and operation of facilities.

2. Official duties

Based on the latest scientific and technical achievements, advanced domestic and foreign experience in designing, building and operating facilities and using design automation tools, it develops separate sections (parts) of the project. She takes part in the preparation of tasks for the development of design solutions. Participates in the collection of basic data for the design, in solving technical issues on fixed objects throughout the entire period of design, construction, commissioning of the object and the development of design capacity. Linking the adopted design decisions with the design decisions on other sections (parts) of the project. Conducts patent research to ensure patent purity of new design solutions and patentability. Ensures that the developed projects and technical documentation complies with the standards, specifications and other regulatory documents on design and construction, as well as the tasks for their development Carries out architectural supervision of the construction of projected objects, advises on matters within its competence. Participates in the analysis and synthesis of experience in project development and their implementation in construction and on this basis prepares proposals on the feasibility of adjusting the adopted general and fundamental design decisions. He takes part in the preparation of applications for inventions, preparation of conclusions and feedback on innovations and inventions, draft standards, technical specifications and other regulatory documents, in the work of seminars and conferences. Should know: Methods of designing and conducting technical and economic calculations; principles of work, manufacturing technology and installation of equipment and structures, types and properties of materials; resolutions, orders, orders of higher and other bodies, methodological and regulatory materials on the design, construction and operation of facilities; standards, specifications and other guidance materials on the design and execution of design estimates; technical means of design and construction; basics of patent science; advanced domestic and foreign experience in design and construction; technical, economic, environmental and social requirements for the projected objects; organization of labor and production; rules and norms of labor protection.
