1. General characteristics of the profession

Provides material support and moral and legal support to people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, mothers of many children, orphans, people suffering from serious illnesses, alcoholics and drug addicts, poor citizens who are in a state of mental depression due to environmental disasters, international conflicts and wars, loss of loved ones, family, housing, etc. Identifies citizens in need of such assistance determines the nature and amount of assistance needed.

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

Decency, honesty, disinterestedness, purposefulness, strong will, hard work, observation, emotional and volitional stability, social intuition, calm and pleasant timbre of voice.

3. Medical contraindications

The work is not recommended for people suffering from cardiovascular, neuropsychiatric diseases and other illnesses that reduce the overall performance and balance in communication, actions, etc.

4. Requirements for training

Awareness of social, humanitarian and moral issues, expression of interest in issues of ethics, law, sociology, medicine, economics, professional counseling, employment.
