1. General characteristics of the profession

Conducts the process of hot stamping, disembarking, forging parts, products and blanks from metals and alloys on presses and other forging and stamping machines from the control panel. Prepares equipment for work, controls the manufacture of parts according to their samples.

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

For the activities required: physical endurance; skillful hands; spatial imagination; precise eye; ability to read blueprints; precise coordination of movements; caution attentiveness, ability to foresee events, balanced assessment.

3. Medical contraindications

The work is not recommended for people with: diseases of the musculoskeletal system; severe diseases of the organs of vision; hearing severe forms of hypertension and diseases of the central nervous system; of cardio-vascular system; skin diseases; allergic diseases; deformation of the fingers; chronic infectious diseases.

4. Requirements for training

Knowledge of physics, chemistry, drawing is required. Must know the scheme of serviced machines and equipment; modes of heating, forging, stamping, cooling of metals and alloys.

5. Related professions

Smelter of ferroalloys, smelter of non-ferrous metals, operator of rolling production, operator of control panel.
