1. General characteristics of the profession

Serves the compressor installation: prepares to start and stop, maintains the specified technological mode, monitors its operation with the help of instrumentation, automation, alarm systems, protection, blocking, performs routine inspection, determines the cause of the fault and eliminates it.

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

Fatigue-resistant eyesight, visual acuity and normal color discrimination, auditory and olfactory sensitivity, good memory, physical endurance, ability to work in a team.

3. Medical contraindications

Predisposition to catarrhal diseases, defects of sight and hearing, disturbances in the work of the vestibular apparatus

4. Requirements for training

Knowledge of electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, knowledge of various types and types of instrumentation, and technological process is required.

Must know the device and principles of operation of the compressor unit, electric motors, instrumentation.
