Magnetoelectrics and ferrites

Lecture

In radio engineering, high-frequency signals and cores for inductive coils are made from magnetodielectrics or from ferrites.

Magnetoelectrics - materials obtained by mixing magnetic powder, iron or permalloy powder with a dielectric. The mixture is molded and baked. Since each grain is covered by a dielectric film, such cores are not saturated

µ = 1-100.

Ferrites are materials that are made from copper or zinc oxides and iron and nickel oxides. According to their electrical properties, ferrites are semiconductors and can saturate.

Hc = 10 A / m.

µ = 1-1000

Hard magnetic materials
Hard magnetic materials - carbon steel, magnic alloys.
Permanent magnets - iron alloys with aluminum, nickel and cobalt - alnico
