Most people think that physical beauty is the most reliable way to find a partner, but the reality is not at all what they try to present in cinema and romance novels. Very beautiful people are rare. In theory, we should have admired them, but in fact most of us are skeptical of beautiful people. Studies show that as a partner we choose those who are as attractive as we are. In this case, the higher the likelihood that the partner will stay with us for a long time and will not strive for the best. This preference is innate, as even babies are drawn to ordinary, middle-aged people, and not to dazzlingly beautiful ones.
