As we have said, rectangular tables create a rival or defensive relationship between people, since each of the participants in the conversation occupies the same space, but at the same time is placed on its side of the table. This allows negotiators to take their position and maintain eye contact across the table. For short, specific conversations, square tables are ideal. They also allow you to create a relationship "boss - subordinate." The most willing to cooperate are those who sit at your side. Usually the one who sits to the right shows the greatest willingness to cooperate.
Its not about the words, but in your place.
With this placement, all participants in the conversation sit at the same time in the rival and angular positions.

The one who sits on the right cannot hit you with his left hand, therefore this place has historically been considered more honorable. Surrounding subconsciously endow the person sitting on the right, greater authority than the one sitting on the left. You will meet the greatest resistance from the side of the one who sits opposite, and when four people gather around the table, someone is sitting opposite each of them.
