9.1.0 Organization of production processes

This chapter discusses the main provisions on the organization of production processes in industrial enterprises. The definition of the concept of "type of production" and the characteristics of various types of production.

The structure and basic principles of the rational organization of production processes at machine-building and instrument-making enterprises are considered.

The production structure of the enterprise and the forms of intra-plant specialization of production are characterized.

The definition of the concept of "production cycle" is given and its structure is revealed.

The concept of "type of movement" of objects of labor in the production process is defined and describes the method for determining the duration of the production cycle for various "types of movement". It shows how the structure and duration of the production cycle of a complex process is determined.
