The values ​​of available resources become indirect criteria or factors influencing the choice of development methods and the quality, reliability and safety of using PS.
The resources are divided into 2 types: 1. the resources necessary for the direct solution of the basic functions of the PS tasks. 2. Resources required to ensure the reliability and security of the functions of the PS.
The ratio m / y of these types of resources in the implementation of PS depends on the complexity and composition of the regulated functional tasks and requirements for reliability and safety. In various PSs, resources for ensuring reliability can range from 5–20% to 100–300% of the resources used for solving func. tasks.
