Personal life.

Lecture

Personal life is a life path chosen by a person, considered as the sum of all decisions made during the whole life of a given individual [1]. Today it is an important value, especially in Western Europe and North America, where great emphasis is placed on individual development and the protection of privacy.

In antiquity, people realized their life as a part of the life of a larger community, most often for reasons affirmed by myths that forced them to obey the gods, to be faithful to the culture and traditions [2]. These people often did not define their personal life as a set of decisions made, but rules imposed by society, and described themselves, most often as part of a group, most often focusing on membership and roles in society (tribe, church or nation) [3].
