2.2. Vector module

Lecture

The distance between the beginning and the end of a vector is called its length or modulus , and is denoted by 2.2. Vector module .

A vector whose length is equal to one is called a unit vector . The ort of the vector a is the unit vector a 0 , which is c-directed with a , i.e. 2.2. Vector module .

The zero vector 0 is a vector whose beginning and end coincide. The module of the zero vector is zero, and the direction is not defined.

Two vectors are equal if their directions are the same, and the modules are equal.
