"Have you signed up to volunteer?" (D., 1920)
The most famous poster of the era of the civil war. Budennovets looks you in the eyes and points to you with a finger. The poster is remarkable by the fact that poster artist Dmitri Moor actually left us his self-portrait in the form of a resolute Budyonnovka.

Interestingly, the idea of the famous Russian poster "You volunteered" gave this particular American poster. By the way, its author James Montgomery Flagg gave Uncle Sam his own face.
