The early Taoists were the "deep democrats" of their time. They accepted all manifestations of nature, making no distinction.

“A dedicated Taoist is one who seeks to live as closely and in harmony as possible with the laws of nature, recognizing their conformity and accepting that all of them are“ good, ”being integral parts of a whole. Retreat from them - and envelop chaos and destruction. "

Zen philosophy teaches that our qualities can transform ordinary or unusual parts of nature into beauty.

“... From a Zen point of view, which can also be considered the Japanese way of perceiving the world, objects lose their shape, being perfect and artistic in their informal form. What is needed to transform the imperfect into co-perfection is the artist’s spiritual love for the object of creation — love that is higher than self-conceit and originates in the Divine Spirit. ”

Another concept, closely related to process-oriented sympathy, is “composure” in Vipassana Buddhist meditation. In this context, self-control means a neutral point of view; the ability to take any life turn calmly and with a pure heart.
